How the score is built.
The score sums up how far an agent gets on your site: find, read, buy, complete. Every stage consists of checks from the outside. This page says what we check on each stage and what the status words mean.
What is checked on each stage.
Be found
The question
Does an agent find you at all?
What we check
Whether your shop lets agents in and gives them a list of your pages. And whether it tells them in a few lines who you are and what you offer.
What the status words mean
- greenAll signals are there. An agent finds you without detours.
- yellowOne signal is missing or incomplete.
- redAgents are locked out, or there is no list of your pages.
Machine-readable
The question
Does it understand what you sell, what it costs and when it is available?
What we check
Whether product, variant, price, delivery time and returns are there as data a machine reads, and whether the price is the same everywhere. Plus the basics: title, description and text a machine can extract from the page.
What the status words mean
- greenProduct, variant, price, delivery time and returns are there as data, and the prices match.
- yellowThere is data, but a field is missing or the prices differ.
- redAn agent has to guess what you sell and what it costs.
Shoppable
The question
Can it order from you without needing a human?
What we check
Whether there is an order path described for machines, and whether it answers orders. And whether your catalog with prices sits where an agent expects it.
What the status words mean
- greenAn agent finds the purchase path described and can place an order.
- yellowSome of the signals are there, for example the catalog with prices, but no described order path.
- redThere is no way for an agent to order from you.
End-to-end
The question
Does it get from the first search to the order confirmation without getting stuck?
What we check
Whether the whole path runs through standard interfaces instead of clicks on your website. The last part, the task from start to finish, is in preparation; until then this is exactly what it says here.
What the status words mean
- greenThe path runs through to the confirmation.
- yellowParts of the path exist. An agent starts but does not reliably reach the end.
- redEvery path ends in clicks on your website.
One score, four status words.
The score is a number from 0 to 100. Every stage carries a status word, always with the word, never with the color alone. The badge starts at 80 with active Watch.
- greenThe stage holds. An agent gets through here.
- yellowThe stage holds in part. An agent gets through with gaps.
- redThe stage does not hold. An agent gets stuck here.
- no badgeScore below 80 or no active Watch. Stated exactly like that on the verification page.
What the score does not measure
Revenue. Ranking. Mentions in AI answers. The last one is stage 1 and the field of our partners. The score measures whether an agent can read you and buy from you, not whether it recommends you.
From the outside, without a login.
IthildimBot/1.0 checks from the outside, the way an agent sees your site. It honors robots.txt, keeps to rate limits, identifies itself by name, never logs in anywhere and never buys anything. How it works and how you lock it out is described under /bot.
