This website works without cookies, without tracking and without analytics tools. No advertising networks are embedded. External services are only loaded when you actively click on them.
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the site, Netlify processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested) in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). The transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify (Data Processing Agreement, part of the Netlify terms of service). Netlify stores and deletes the server log files according to its own retention periods; we do not evaluate them. Access logs for reports we deliver are kept for 30 days and deleted afterwards.
If you sign up for updates via the form, your email address is processed and stored via Netlify Forms. The sole purpose is sending rare, substantive updates about Ithildim. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time, informally by email to hello@ithildim.ai; your address will then be deleted. The form is available on the homepage and on the contact page; the same processing applies in both cases. Scan requests (domain and email address) are also processed via Netlify Forms, solely to carry out the requested scan and to report the result back to you. A requested scan processes only publicly accessible data of the submitted domain. Form entries are deleted 90 days after completion: for scan requests 90 days after the result has been reported, for update sign-ups 90 days after your withdrawal.
For booking a call, the homepage and the contact page (/en/contact.html) link to the external service Cal.com, operated by Cal.com, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4382, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. The service is only called when you actively click the booking link; merely visiting this website transfers no data to Cal.com. The contact page itself triggers no further data processing. For processing in the course of the booking, the Cal.com privacy policy applies. Cal.com is used exclusively as a linked external service. Only once you open the booking link does Cal.com process personal data (e.g. name, email address, chosen appointment) under its own responsibility or on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; the Cal.com privacy policy applies.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.
